Varanasi: After signing a memorandum of understanding {MoU) with the UP govt to promote investment in the state, the Digital Doctor Clinic project has extended its reach into Purvanchal with the opening of clinics in Dhanapur and Kamalpur in Chandauli district on Friday. DM Nikhil Tikaram inaugurated the clinic in Dhanapur. The programme was attended by chief medical officer Yogesh K. Rai and others. Sanjay Kumar, head of Obdu group, who developed the Digital Doctor project, mentioned that with the opening of this clinic, rural residents will have access to online consultations with doctors as well as necessary tests for conditions like dengue, malaria, chikungunya, liver function, sugar, jaundice and more, including ultrasound services as needed. Based on the test results, which will be available in three to five minutes, medication will also be provided on the spot. He further stated that the goal of the initiative is to ensure availability of better medical services and essential testing facilities in every village of Uttar Pradesh. In line with this, two Digital Doctor Clinics have been launched simultaneously in Chandauli.
